BAOFENG UV-5R | How to adjust squelch level.
Squelch silences the receiver when there is no signal.
- UHF Sensitivity can be varied from .1 to .3 mV
- VHF Sensitivity is constant. 1 - 9 = .1 mV
- Level 0 = Open Squelch
- Level 5 is the default and recommended
