UPDATE: OMG. I had no idea about this being uncovered as early Vaporwave.
I can't claim anything but being lucky in finding a vibe that later turned into such a great music genre.
I am so glad it has connected with so many folks on an emotional level.
I think due credit is deserved to the Flamingos - who took the original version and arranged such a haunting and wistful vocal interpretation.
