As a filmmaker beginning my journey into acting, I wanted to create something raw, intimate, and dramatic — a story I could perform in and learn from. Bars to Blood was made over just a few days with limited resources but a lot of passion.
This film marks the start of my exploration into character, story, and performance.
Written, directed, and performed by Anthony Napolitano. After serving a 15-year prison sentence, Bobby Delucia is released. He attempts to reconnect with his family, only to discover they want nothing to do with him.
