Shelf notes: I can’t quite surmise how hearing this song makes me feel. Nostalgia, I suppose, is the word: a kind of warmness towards past times. I first heard it maybe 8 or so years ago. It was one of the first electronic music songs I listened to and loved. (Believe it or not, I (Freddie) listened almost exclusively to hip hop (mainly in 1990s New York strains of the stuff) until the age of about 16.) It’s something about the way that main chord echoes unevenly in each ear, cascading down into the centre of your mind.
