Basic Hand Tools for new HVAC techs

This video shows a list a basic hand tools that every new technician will need on the first day at work. The list is specifically for residential technicians to perform air conditioning repairs or heating repairs. Obviously it's not a complete list of tools but a recommendation new on the AC job. The HVAC Technicians that have been in the field a long time, like myself, have many more tools so this is just a suggested list. Most of the tools in my hand bag can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowes. The other tools, such as a the service wrench, will need to be purchased at the supply house. Collecting tools for this trade can be addicting and good tools help us perform our job efficiently and effectively.
