In this video, I describe some of the basic Linux commands for file and directory manipulation. I demonstrate commands for creating (nano, touch, mkdir), listing (ls), renaming (mv), copying (cp), and removing (rm) files and directories. Using the Federalist Papers, I demonstrate commands that let us work with a large number of larger files, such as listing files with regular expressions, head, tail, more, and grep (get regular expression and print).
