Basic Parallel Inverter : Working and Output Waveforms
Now the charged capacitor is placed across S2 through S1 and thus, S2 goes to F.B condition
WORKING :
When S1 starts conducting and S2 is OFF
VOA = VS
VBO = VS
Capacitor is charged with right plate positive
VC = 2VS , IC = 0 ⇒ V0 = 2VS
Now the charged capacitor is placed across S2 through S1 and thus, S2 goes to F.B condition
When S2 is fired
Now the charged capacitor is placed across S1 through S2 and thus, S1 goes to R.B condition and turns off.
The source current get shifted from S1 to S2
Winding portion OA carries discharging current - IC
Winding portion OB carries current IS + IC
When S2 is ON
VAO = VS & VOB = VS ⇒ VAB = 2VS
Capacitor is charged with right plate negative
VC = -2VS , IC = 0 ⇒ V0 = -2VS
