This video represents the end-result of the "Mesh generation with snappyHexMesh" part of the sourceflux Advanced training. The following major steps are covered in-depth during this training:
• Background mesh.
• Castellated mesh.
• Snapping and adding layers.
• Preparing the geometry.
Please bear in mind, that no emphasis is on the mesh quality itself, especially at the leading and tailing edges of the propeller blades. Resolving them properly to a satisfactory extend would require too much time, which then is lacking for other parts of the training.
The geometry is the propeller of the KVLCC2.
