Some tatting beginners asked me how to read tatting diagrams:
1) when to use one shuttle? when to use two shuttles?
2) How to know when to reverse work, and do not reverse work?
This is exercise 1 on practicing how to read tatting diagrams.
It gives you idea when to reverse work and do not reverse work.
These three motifs are very easy and suitable for beginner to practice on rings and chains too.
