Each produces coloured balls and places them into a store. The work centers are then instructed to pull ony 1 type from the store - Work Center 1 pulls yellow balls out, and Work Center 2 pulls Blue balls out. The work centers do this by using Batch By Type. When Work Items are produced at the Work Entry Points they are given Labels - values between 1 and 3. This value is then carried around on the Work Item. The Work Centers are instructed (by using Work Center, Routing In, Options) to use Batch by Type which means that they will only pull form the store the type specified. Load Pallet uses Routing In, Collect to bring together 1 pallet and 1 component. They are processed as 1 work item following this work center. Unload Pallet uses Routing Out Batching to create 2 work items from 1. This simulates the unloading of the pallet, and sends 1 item to the Exit point and 1 back to the Pallet Store. Preference Only in Routing Out is unchecked to prevent errors. Pallet Store is a Storage Area with its Graphics changed to Queue. There is a Start Up condition set (use the Start Up button) to simulate the 8 pallets.
