Battery Drain Issue Solved With One Simple Mod

I built a mini boost pedal inside this guitar and it works great… but I had a problem: the battery kept draining even when the pedal was “off,” because the jacks are permanently plugged in Then Jon left a comment that completely solved it: Use a stereo output jack for battery switching, so the battery only connects when a cable is plugged in. That's what you call: ,TRS switching jack, Stereo jack battery switching, battery switching stereo jack, Switched output jack ,Battery disconnect jack, battery cut-off jack or Active jack In this video I: Show the simple fix using a TRS / stereo jack Make the mod step-by-step (including a bit of drama… because of course 😅) Test it to confirm the boost turns off when you unplug the cable ✅ I also updated the wiring diagram for this guitar on partscasterplanner.com Just select this guitar, and under Electronics you’ll find the updated wiring diagram.
