Battle's Aftermath

The mourning period is over. It is now time for the soldier to pick himself up and make his way back home. The battle is over and the war is won. While this all may be true, there is still a battle going on inside him. He's returning a hero, a champion, a survivor. Yet, all he can remember is those who have fallen. When he finally returns home, he's gonna put on a brave face for his friends, his family and his surviving comrades. But after that, he can't promise anything.
