A fire alarm towards the end of The One Show caused the BBC One off-air caption to appear on Network and NI, and a similar animating red caption in Scotland. However BBC1 Wales broadcast a montage loop of ident soundtracks, with occasional apology.
Crashing into a filler programme started some time earlier on Network, wouldn't you know it the proceeding programme would be a local one, so the 'Next/Later' slide had to be hastily corrected from 'Rip Off Britain' to 'Rolf on Welsh Art' by the local announcer!
