Be Content In All Things
Reading Matthew 6:33 in context changed my perspective on things. I used to think this verse was promising me anything I wanted if I just put God first. When I took a closer look, I realized that it truly only refers to handling my basic needs. It has encouraged me to be content with what I have and be thankful no matter what. I pray it does the same for you. Please write it on the tablet of my heart and bring it to my remembrance every day as I seek Your Face." PRAYER OF REPENTANCE: Dear Heavenly Father, I approach Your Throne right now in the Name of Jesus. I lay myself before you and I repent for all my trespasses and wrong doings against You and myself. I ask that you forgive me and help me to submit to your Lordship through Jesus and follow the guidance of Your Spirit. I cannot do it alone, please help me to see things how you do and feel how you feel when I sin against You. Use Your Spirit to provide understanding and revelation, new to me in why I should forsake my fleshly pleasures. Impress on me the Fruit of Your Spirit; convict and condemn me day by day so I can be a perfect example of Holy Righteousness in Your Eyes for Your people in this day. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen. #contentment #encouragement #BibleStudy #ChristianYouTuber #FaithInJesus #BiblicalTruth #JesusSaves #HolySpirit
