In my bible reflection, I find myself asking the same question disciple Philip once asked: “Lord… show me the Father.” Not out of doubt, but out of longing — a quiet desire to see God more clearly, to feel Him more near. And in that silence, I hear the gentle reply: “Have I been with you all this time, and you still do not know me?”
This song is my prayer in that space — as one still searching, still learning, still hoping to recognize His presence in the ordinary, in the familiar, in the face of Christ. Like many of us on this journey, I am a pilgrim—yearning not just to see, but to know… and to be His friend.
