Another mix from the early 2000s that I found the other day. When I was a bit younger than now I used to DJ (under the name of DJ Steam) in local bars and clubs (Gloucestershire area). I've always loved the chill out scene, my very first residency was playing chill out music in Bar Cuba, Cheltenham. Like a lot of pubs these days it is now flats.
This may not be strictly chill out at the beginning but the flavour I was going for was an early evening mood setter on a beach. Towards the end it gets more chilled.
It's hot and sunny here in the UK at the moment and this might make the perfect afternoon BBQ background music.
