In this week's beach survey, we found an EPIRB, which stand for Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon. These are only to be used in dire situations of emergency by vessels at sea. This particular EPIRB was almost 2 years expired when we found it, but we took it to the U.S. Coast Guard just in case.
