This is a work about destruction and about a realisation that comes too late.
About control that felt like care. Pressure that felt like devotion. It was genuinely believed to be normal. And only later — through time and pain — comes the understanding that it only seemed that way.
A person who knew no other way to be close chose this way.
But life after such a profound realisation never quite fits back together.
