Beginning

In a timeline full of perfect faces, I felt my heartbeat losing pace. But all their shining little moments Are just flashes caught in place. I’m still drawing out my story, Step by step on unknown ground. A wanderer at the starting line, Trying not to look around. If we all begin in different places, Then we reach different skies above. Life was never made for racing— I’m not here to chase someone. I won’t compare my beginning To someone already halfway through. My rhythm, my speed, my meaning— I’ll move forward in my own truth. And every step I’m taking Leads me to where I’m meant to be. This is my story waking— Watch me rise and set it free. Everyone seems far ahead now, And pressure whispers in my ear. But my timing has its purpose— There’s no need to disappear. Someone’s flowers bloom before me, Doesn’t mean my seeds won’t grow. Every season comes in order, We all rise in our own flow. This long, winding road I’m walking Will someday shine like gold. I won’t throw away this moment— This present me is worth holding. I won’t compare my beginning To someone already halfway through.
