Someone online was saying they don't understand what is so cool about this cheap module so I thought I would show a little of what I know. Someone should do a high quality video on these sort of techniques that is more geared towards beginners because this is kind of quick and sloppy.
reddit user n_nou had this to say "One correction - negative input opens the gate with anything below 1V, positive for everything above 2,5V.
Other than what you showed, you can use a complex audio to open the gate and a constant voltage as your signal to get a really gnarly distortion."
