The faders can be muffled. See a modded against an unmodded. The problem comes down to cheap production costs.
Behringer doesnt calibrate the bands, they make them as loose as possible. and the fader needs some support. Usual there is something to keep the faders from swaying when they move. Behringer cut costs by not putting them on the unit.
Modding takes 20 minutes. Works the nuts. I suggest adjusting the bands while hooked up so you can calibrate them to your feel.
