I spoke with a young man recently who attends one of the churches in the area, the only church that I would consider as serving Christ to the glory of God. He took a break for ninety days to attend a secular program for drunks. I asked him, since some in the church knew he has this addiction, if any had ever reached out to him about it.
The answer was no.
I asked him if he had reached out to anyone there.
Same answer. No.
But he had been meeting the pastor of the church once a week previously to discuss his “problem.”
Privately, of course.
