The plaintiff says he rented a room in the defendant’s house and was forced to leave because the defendant is a slob. He says the defendant now refuses to return his security deposit, so he’s suing for the money he’s owed. The defendant says the plaintiff simply found a better place, didn’t give her 30 days’ notice and, in fact, only gave her two days before moving out. She says she’s entitled to keep his security because he breached their agreement.
