This is a great tune written by Allen Shelton. When I was a teen, I picked up an album called Flatt and Scruggs The Golden Years. I believe it was a Rebel Records release. This song was the first cut on side 2. I thought it was Earl Scruggs playing even though it didn't exactly sound like him. When I read the fine print under the song title, it listed Allen Shelton as the writer.
