Benson: Delay

The Benson Delay draws on the company’s history servicing tape and bucket brigade echo units, recreating the singular floaty ambience, colorful repeats, and musical degradation of analog delays in a meticulously tuned PT2399-based circuit. Features include the most accurate tap-tempo ever applied to a PT2399 circuit, 30ms -1250ms delay range, 100% dry-to-100% wet mix, huge headroom for pro audio applications, and lush, wide-ranging modulation. Tap divisions & LFO waveform options can be accessed in MENU mode, opening up further sonic possibilities from this singular delay pedal. In this demo we employ the Benson Delay in an ambient post-punk band context, then we explore the control set to let you hear its range of tones.
