Between Hatred and Love

I wake from my dreams and find myself suspended in the sky. In the light of my desires, I abandon all reason and leave behind everything that once guided me through paths of truths — harsh truths, always tied to a future that never arrives and never touches my present. But I cannot forget your face. I know it is beautiful, but I must remember that it is from it I must flee, flee from your future and your truths, truths that wound me When the struggle is to escape something that is never here, the present dissolves, truth becomes distorted and love? What does love become? Hatred? Compassion? Tenderness? Disaffection? What does love transform into? This is how I see the world: between desire and hope, between hatred and love, moved by the light of your greedy desires. Hoooooo… hummmmm And so we go on — for an instant — between loves and hopes, between presents, pasts, memories and dreams, until a new future dawns
