Traditional classroom practice in many Nigerian schools still emphasises narrow measures of intelligence, primarily linguistic and logical abilities, often leaving many capable learners disengaged or mislabeled as underperforming. The theory of Multiple Intelligences, developed by Howard Gardner, provides a powerful framework for understanding learner diversity and designing more inclusive instruction. This symposium will translate the theory into practical classroom strategies that teachers and school leaders can immediately apply.
