Bible Study - Genesis Chapter 47
Genesis 47 shows what happens after the reunion… now they have to live in what God set up. Joseph brings his family before Pharaoh, and they’re given a place to settle. What started as survival during a famine turns into provision, stability, and covering. But at the same time, you see what’s happening in Egypt, the famine keeps getting worse, and people start giving up everything just to survive. There’s a contrast in this chapter. God’s people are being sustained, while the world around them is being drained. And it’s not random, it shows how positioning matters. Where you are, and who you’re connected to, can completely change how something affects you. You also see Jacob at the end, reflecting on his life. There’s this awareness that even though his journey was hard and messy, God still brought him to this point. This chapter is about provision, positioning, and looking back and realizing God was present in all of it, even when it didn’t feel like it. ⬇️ START HERE • Join the Bible study journey: https://www.youtube.com/@Findingmelissa_ • If you feel led to support what’s being built here: https://www.youtube.com/@Findingmelissa_/membership 📚 RESOURCES THAT CHANGED ME (faith, psychology, healing, growth) • Book Recommendations: https://www.amazon.com/shop/findingmelissa 🎙️ STAY CONNECTED • Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/findingmelissa • TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@findingmelissa?_r=1&_t=ZP-94xqfXmNwid • Spotify Podcast: https://tr.ee/KK1pTkWQli • Apple Podcast: https://tr.ee/w-MeEat9pN 🔗 EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE • All Links: https://linktr.ee/Findingmelissa _ If something here actually impacts you, send it to someone.
