This extended documentary explores the process, purpose, and community impact of biochar through workshops and field demonstrations held in Mendocino County, California. Featuring interviews with educators, environmental practitioners, and members of the Pomo community, the film examines how biochar production can support wildfire fuel reduction, soil restoration, carbon storage, and long-term environmental stewardship.
