Birdhouse Part 1

A handmade birdhouse build using cherry wood, designed to be a bit more substantial and characterful than the usual shop-bought versions. I wanted this one to feel more like a proper little piece of outdoor woodworking rather than a flimsy garden ornament. The cherry gives it a lovely rich look, and the finished build has a more solid, crafted feel to it. In this video I go through the process of making the birdhouse, from preparing the wood through to assembly and finishing. A simple project in principle, but with enough detail to make it feel a bit special.
