Bittersweet End

I’ve gone from visiting facebook To visiting find a grave It's often that I take a look And try to be brave As every year that goes by Its one year closer i fear As everyone has to go there and lie So that means it starts to come near And what’s left to be done? Are there any more milestones to reach? Living is a lot of fun But there are only so many years for each! So I just pray and pray With him I want to stay With my love everyday I’m hoping we will find a way Because I don’t ever want it to be the end For this love I want to defend I looked up somebody famous From so many years ago Oh look they are the same age as… Oh my and oh no In my paranoid mind That means my time Is almost up too It rhymes so you know it must be true I try to resign And for my feelings to align I close my eyes and say See its not so bad to go far away And still I pray and pray With him I want to stay With my love everyday I’m hoping we will find a way Because I don’t ever want it to be the end For this love I want to defend Our love is all I have and will defend To the very bittersweet end
