#Bitumen PH level test
This test determines pH level which is used for emulsified bitumen. This is because emulsified bitumen must be acidic and its pH needs to be calibrated. The pH level of acidic water solutions is lower than seven. Low pH levels indicate higher acidity and higher density of hydrogen’s positive ions. Solutions or chemicals which display acid-like characteristics are called acidic.
When the displayed number becomes stable, the pH is calibrated.
