In this video we will explore building an overhead jib crane. This crane is made from a trailer axle, a few basic pieces of steel, and a 110 Volt electric winch . I use it to lift heavy items on and off the Lathe and Bridgeport. The main design was to remove and install the chucks on the Clausing 8000 lathe.
