Black Bear Pass is considered to one of the most dangerous off-road trails in Colorado. Black Bear pass is also one of the most beautiful trails that runs between Ouray and Telluride. Once you reach the infamous "Stair Steps", Black Bear Pass becomes a one way trail. After reaching the "Stair Steps", the trail can only be traveled from the east to the west; from Ouray to Telluride.
