John Matthews, a painfully awkward housekeeper at a large family owned manor meets Haze Borden, a girl of sharp wit, many talents, and an affinity for the paranormal . . . often overshadowed by her title as the daughter of Nebraskan Governor Max Borden. Weirdly enough, and against all odds, the two seem to hit it off a bit, but this may not be the first time they've met, and something sinister is puppeting the strings of reality around them.
