In the second part, we continue the installation—and one thing is clear: this entire process is split into three stages. This episode covers the segment that prepares the system for what comes next.
Here we go straight into the terminal. Before touching packages or repositories, we stabilize the essentials: we configure systemd-networkd for connectivity and systemd-resolved for DNS resolution, making sure the network works consistently from boot.
With networking under control, we move on to real repository access: we adjust /etc/pacman.d/blackarch-mirrorlist and select a reliable mirror that can sync properly and give us full access to BlackArch’s tools—without drops, desync issues, or download errors.
