If you've captured data on a target with two different filters (like the L-Enhance and L-Ultimate), you'll need to blend them together for a cleaner final image. Provided the filters are both fairly similar (dual-band), you could just stack everything into one image. However, this is not ideal for a number of reasons. Most importantly, your flat frames will only correspond to part of the data and they will over/under correct the rest of the data (taken with the other filter). The stacking software might also reject some of the images. Here's the recommended technique for blending data together: 1. Stack both filters separately 2. Open the master lights and fix the color cast, stars, and gradients 3. Align both photos to the same composition using StarAlignment 4. Run StarXterminator 5. Use Pixel Math to blend the photos together: mean(photo1,photo2) Compare your new combined image with the originals and confirm it looks good. If so, you can finish editing the photo using your standard workflow. 00:00 - Intro 00:31 - Stacking Everything Together? 01:40 - Step 1: Stack Each Set Separately 01:59 - Step 2: Fix Colors with SPCC 03:04 - Step 3: BlurXterminator - Correct Only 03:13 - Step 4: Align Photos using StarAlignment 04:42 - Step 5: StarXterminator & Gradient Correction 06:44 - Step 6: Blend Photos with Pixel Math 08:46 - Optional: Fix Gradient 10:06 - Optional: Fill-In Missing Data with Photoshop 13:32 - Recap
