Hey everyone and welcome to the beginner series of rigging basics volume 1 for Blender. In this series of lessons I will teach you the idea of rigging by tackling the legs in this series, the idea is not to just rig legs, but how you would approach rigging in general. From how to set up ik constraints, how to parent bones, how to edit an armature, mirroring bones, naming bones to mirror in blender and as well as going further such as how to weight paint, how to create and use custom controller shapes, how to color bones, how to use drivers. All of this will be covered in the series. Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 will be the theory and introduction to rigging and lessons 3-7 will all be practical and will have project files down below.
