BlenderGis Tutorial PART 4 - Fold Construction

"BlenderGIS - 3D Geological Modeling - Part 4: Fold Construction" is the fourth tutorial in a series of five aimed at assisting geologists in reconstructing and presenting complex structural settings in augmented reality. In this tutorial, I demonstrate the 3D construction of two different fold type. The first example is from the Jura fold and thrust belt, where folding occurred in the shallow subsurface under a brittle deformation mechanism. The 3D geological setting is available for viewing in my video at https://youtu.be/MR1fKfuhAec The second example is from the Helvetic fold and thrust belt in the Swiss Alps, where folding occurred at depths of up to 10 km under elevated pressure and temperature conditions and rocks were folded through a combination of brittle and semi-ductile deformation mechanisms.
