Made In England (1995) is Elton John's 24th studio album with several great tracks. Despite the albums moderat success it is a musically great album with a great production behind it. This track called Blessed is about a child who hasn't been born yet and features a great lyric by Bernie Taupin. Blessed was played as part of the Made In England tour that brought Elton John around the world. The song is a rarity in live settings and has been played occasionally solo with Ray Cooper during their joint concerts. The song was also played on TV-shows as part of the promotion of the album. The song has not been played live since 2009 with Ray Cooper, and this version is inspired by those shows.
