blue cadillac Many moons ago, I slapped my money down at a Buffalo bus station in exchange for a long, rambling ride down to Montgomery, Alabama, home of the late great Hiram Hank Williams, the purpose of which was to write a song about him. As we moved through the miles, it became clear that what I really wanted was to try and have his real entity write something for me. Not such an unfathomable proposition for those of you who receive songs or other pertinent information from your real entity, wherever it dwells outside of this hallucination. That’s right. I don’t really write songs. I’m a song stenographer. My only contribution is in making sure that I’m always in possession of a pen, paper and perhaps a pocket voice recorder so as to be able to document whatever is being dictated. If that happens to be your reality, then it’s not too far a jump to presume that maybe the entity that once roamed the Earth as Hank Williams might be able to be reached from this side of the river and prompted into providing some sort of an offering.
