Blue's owners report that Blue can be uncontrollable when the kids in his family bouse or kick balls. He becomes so adrenalized and frustrated, he whines, barks, lunges and "goes crazy" when he can't get at the ball. This was his first session with my daughter kicking around a soccer ball. ⚽️ The sound box is on, though I did not have to help him with the e-collar during this session. The rules are: leave the ball alone and stay with me. Keeping with me gives Blue something else to focus on, making it easier to not chase the ball. If his owners practice regularly, Blue will not need to focus on his handler when chasing and playing is not an option. He will be able to be free at liberty and just leave the bouncing ball and running kids alone when asked. Quite honestly, this session was very easy for the both of us. Because Blue has practiced not chasing the chickens, not rushing toward guests, not moving toward other dogs on walks (and so much more), I pretty much had to let him know the ball was off limits and he knew what to do. When we work on patience and self-control, it filters into other areas of life (for dogs and humans 😉). He made a few mistakes when the temptation was too great, but only needed a verbal reminder. I am very pleased with his progress and I am really going to miss him. 😌 Good Dogs Minnesota Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kellgdmn Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gooddogsminnesota/ Website: https://www.gooddogsminnesota.com/
