I wrote the lyrics to this song (worked with AI for the music) to pay homage to good ol’ bonfire parties. Been to a fair amount. From small bonfires to huge ones that basically used 10-foot-long chunks of trees. I harken to a few things in the song that relate to the Coon’s Bluff area outside Phoenix, AZ, along the Salt River (we partied out there a lot in high school). For example, the “Wild Ones” are the wild Mustangs we’d occasionally run into or stumble into out there at night. They’d come somewhat close to our fires, but if you got too close to them, they’d bail. The sleeping woman hints at this old legend of the Superstition Mountains. Cheers!
