BMW E46 318i: M43 Engine Temperature Sensor Replacement

The engine temperature gauge has been showing red even from a cold motor so I suspected the engine temperature sensor has failed. In this video I go through the steps to replace the sensor. Note: My videos are not a tutorial/how to. I am not a qualified mechanic so please refer to your workshop manual with your work.
