BMW E46 320D Oil Level Sensor Diagnose and Replace

Sensor - https://amzn.to/3Rvoanl After finding an issue where the yellow oil light would flash on for around 60 seconds shortly after starting the car, I found out this is a common issue with a failing oil level sensor. So as an oil change was due, it was the perfect time to swap it out with a new one. All that's needed is to take off the metal reinforcement plate with 8, 16mm head bolts and 3 nuts holding the actualy sensor onto the sump. The car is a BMW E46 320CD with the M47TUD20 Engine. This engine is in other models and i beleive the sensor is the same for many different cars. the replacement procedure is likely to be identical to many BMW's of the era.
