Here we have this E Series X1 E84 whereby it was having an issue with the iDrive continuously rebooting every few minutes. This is usually due to a software issue with the unit but in rare instances it could be hardware related.
In our case a software update fixed the problem. This vehicle had not been updated since it had come out the factory in 2010! We have updated it to the latest software from 2025.
The iDrive is all fixed and no further issues, also all the modules are up to date!
