Bobby Caldwell Interviews (1990-2012) This video contains numerous interviews with Bobby Caldwell between 1990 - 2012. It has been a labor of love to locate and compile this collection of videos. He is an elusive musical figure who found success in the late 1970's with the hit song "What You Won’t Do for Love". At first, radio listeners presumed he was black. Once it was discovered that he was in fact a white man, people seemed off-put and lied to by TK records, who had vaguely concealed his identity. He spent a musical hiatus writing songs for other popular artists of the time (Boz Scaggs, Chicago, Neil Diamond, Cheryl Lynn, Natalie Cole, and Al Jarreau). Into the 1990's, his music saw a huge rebirth in Japan. Most of the videos included here come from various tours he gave in Japan at that time. Hope you enjoy!
