On 22/07/2025 we had the pleasure of bearing Mr Mark Torpy to his retirement dining out meal at Wallop's officers mess.
Mark retired as a simulator instructor at the Boeing Apache Academy, after a long career flying with the AAC. It was some 15 years since he had flown a helicopter proper, but it didn't show.
We hope he might join us as our ops manager soon.
