Formed by multi-instrumentalists Reuben Barrett and Catherine Rannus, the project fuses Reuben’s raw rhythm with Catherine’s classically trained melodic sensibility. Named in tribute to jazz pioneer Buddy Bolden, the duo aims to evolve the jazz tradition for the 2026 UK jazz scene and beyond.
