(warning, has some flashing lights on the spike blocks) controls: T : unstuck button (in case you get stuck in a wall, this game is not perfect so bugs might happen, will bring you to the most recent save point) hold R : hold R to respawn faster after dying for the screentransition, keep in mind however if you pick up a health pickup after dying, you will not actually die. WASD / arrow keys : moving and menus space / z / up arrow : jump shift / right click : dash (if dash shoes are collected) E / X / Left click : attack (if bamboo is collected) enter : confirm small update I worked on today!! I added controller support, I've never done that in a Gamemaker left joystick / D-Pad : moving and menus A : jump right trigger / right bumper / B : dash (if dash shoes are collected) X : attack (if bamboo is collected) start : confirm keep in mind that easy mode really does mean easy mode, the game overall becomes significantly easier, which is more meant for people that are not as experienced in platforming games as others. have fun playing!! ALSO the game saves anytime you collect a unselected checkpoint, so make sure after defeating a boss to walk the extra 2 meters to collect the checkpoint, otherwise you might lose your progress If you need help at any point in the game feel free to msg me on discord or ask in the comments, I've been trying to make a map, but I've noticed not many of the testers really needed the map. NEW GAME, FROM ME, AND ITS ON NEWGROUNDS (working) SO COOL! 2 weeks ago I read that pixelday will be on the 23rd of January (which is always is, but still), and since that point onward, I've been working almost my entire days on this game, crafting every little piece of it. It was very intense, especially at the end, where I still had to add quite a few things to the game the day of the release. Probably still playtesting the game right now :P. During the making of this game my boyfriend also underwent quite a serious surgery, so while making this game I also had to take care of him (he's also part of the reason for easy mode :P). Btw, idk if its worth mentioning, but (almost) everything in the game is made by me, music, sprites and sounds, level design bla bla. except for the font used for the money counter, font is called FinePrint, and its really nice and cool. But I am especially proud of the music system in this game, I initially wanted to also have a dynamic music system for broekhat, but the level structure just wasn't made for it, luckely I was able to apply the dynamic music system in this game properly, and it was a lot of fun. There was a softlock found, but has been changed right now since apperently you could obtain the key early and enter the last area without being able to leave, but you can leave with only 2 jumps now too thanks to @Plasmarift Just wanted to say, thank you all so much for all the nice things and positive reception.
